<Today i had to use dreamweaver, i have dreading this day since i came, and as i expected i was useless, need to practise using dreamweaver as it is vital for my course and especially this project( theres something for the PDP). The workload is starting to pile and with yet still no damn internet in my house or T.V or telephone, its actually starting to <”piss me off”>. As i have nothing better to do with my time at home, i was thinking about the project and more ideas have come to my head, like i was thinking about nature always being more powerful than technology no matter how far technology reaches usually its not as powerful as nature itself. Also the fact that i can think about is technology impersonating nature or trying to control it some way, the more i think about this project the more i realise how kewl it is! :>
Day project! ( well i had a few hours)
Today was my day project, however being off ill yesterday and consequencly missing my lectures meant i had not a clue when i arrived what to do, and after being told my themes i can run with i paniced like fuck to get an idea out. I decided to go with the theme elements and somehow got from that, atoms, and atomic structures to the human body and DNA, cells and all that. It also made sense in my head, the link between technology and nature but i could see looking around the room during my presentation people what not on the same level…, well to me the human body is sooo complex, and DNA is like natural technology, it holds millions of data and information that create each individual peeps!…anyway the overall pic turned out pretty damn fine for someone who has not used photoshop since starting this course! i was pretty proud of it at the end of the day even though i panicked soooo much for the few hours i had to complete this day project, but with a little help and enthusiasm i managed to create kinda what i wanted. I originally wanted something alot more complex with loads of strands of DNA, but that was very over ambitious and i should have realised that. Also i have realised i could have linked another thme in this image, the theme of journeys, as i showed a gradual insight into the body, fom skin to under layers to bone and then DNA, also the journey of cellls in our body, oh well, Now to just decide whether or not to use the image as one of my final 5! hmmmmm………..

Blog number 3, i have started to think about this 5 image project thing, and as usual my head floods with ideas, some crappy some to think about. Just to pass some ideas trough here i suppose thats kinda what this blogs about, reflection, and all so here i go, i had the idea wel a few ideas, technology impersonating nature, you know like robots impersonate human processes like that one in Japan, or somewhere, probably Japan to be honest that can walk down and up stairs, amazing, a simple thing like that can create so much attention. Other ideas include nature creating technology, like the apple started Newton off, and the logo for apple mac is an apple, could do something with that hmmmmm we will see. So many ideas, its great, i love the fact the project so open, its hard to be in the wrong, blag the link with tech and nature! well plenty of other ideas but this blog will turn into an essay, its done what its needed to, i am now yet again INSPIRED!

ello world!, well this is a first for me, blogging my thoughts, hmmm i suppose i should talk about IMP!, theres time for that, first i would like to say how much i really want a few new games on xbox 360, such as skate and halo 3!, its driving me insane being a student and not being able to afford them. Freshers was not all it was cracked up to be, still wishing really i was in halls instead of a unilet 2 miles from the uni, spose walking will keep me fit, so every cloud, moving on, not to say i havent had fun, went out a few times got hammered and new flatmates had to carry me home (good icebreaker, i reccomend it), hoping to me plenty of new people and looking forward to many more good nights!
There that was my rant, finally i am enjoying my first few days as an IMP student, need to get the hang of these damn macs, feeling a bit of nob asking for help all the time! but hey! this is what i want to do, i want get into the media industry, preferably in gaming or films would be sweeeet! so thats it for today, stay tuned!
Im actually beggining to like this whole blog idea as it somewhere to turn to to talk about the things i have been through so far, like today after trying to research about this Strinati and Bignell at the uni library only to be told no more books and wont be able to get hold of them till next week!!!, too late so i turned to these amazing ebooks….yea if only they were so amazing according to them the books im searching for do n ot exist. So i was left to the internet searching through google. I have managed to do a little research into each book, and i must say the information i did find, i found fascinating, really has confirmed really that this course is enjoyable to me . i especially enjoyed reading about the semiotics by Jonathan Bignell, pretty kewl if i do say so myself, check it out sometime if you have not already! oh and finally my damn apple macbook arrived at my doorstep today, wohoooooo!!!!
